My favourite long lasting vegan makeup products - Guest Blog from Toni Searle Beauty

Switching your favourite products to vegan versions can seem quite daunting – is it going to be as good, are they going to give me the same results? Luckily, the beauty companies have seen how fast veganism has grown and have responded, making some amazing vegan products that won’t make you miss your old ones at all!

I switched my kit around 5 years ago, so I’ve tried a lot of different products! I’ve managed to find some staples that I won’t go without now, and my brides all love them.

Here are some of my favourites.

1. Evolve Organic Beauty Daily Defence Moisture Mist

A hydrating mist that you use with your skincare routine or throughout the day if you need a bit of freshening up.

2. The Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Butter

THE product to remove your makeup easily. It’s also great for sensitive skin and contact lens wearers.

3. The Body Shop Drops of Youth Concentrate

Since using this serum my skin is brighter and it feels really nourished. Smells good too!

4. Arbonne Liquid Perfecting Foundation SPF 15

The feedback I always get from brides is that it feels so lovely and light on the skin, and does not budge. I’ve also been told it didn’t come off during a gym session either, although you really should be removing your makeup before exercising!

5. Badass Beauty UK The Successor Liner

This is a new brand that I discovered recently. Up until then, my go to liner was KVD Beauty Tattoo Liner, but this is just as good, if not better! I love to support small brands so I’ll be recommending this to everyone. The felt tip design makes the liner so easy to apply and it stays put.

6. NYX Precision Brow Pencil

I love the shade range you get with these brow pencils and the shape makes it easy to apply too. It’s also really long lasting.

7. KVD Beauty Cake Pencil Eyeliner

You can get these liners in black and brown – they’re really creamy so glide on easily, plus they’re waterproof! The cake pencils are brilliant for a smokey eye.

8. NYX Dark Circle Concealer

A little goes a long way with this product and it covers dark circles so well! There are 3 shades to correct circles for a light, medium and a dark skin tone.

9. Eyeko Yoga Waterproof Mascara

This is one product you really can’t go wrong with, especially for weddings! It stays put, so no need to worry about your makeup smudging when you cry. Just make sure you have a decent waterproof eye makeup remover to take it off, normal eye makeup remover won’t do.

If there’s anything specific you are looking for, please ask. I love to help people switch their beauty products to vegan and cruelty free. I’ve also written a free guide to switching which includes my favourite products, so if you’d like a copy, send me a message.

Plus, I’ve recently just completed a Diploma in Advanced Skincare and Treatments, so if you are struggling when it comes to your skin, I can help you with that too!
